Share your blogging timeline

Bloggers

Have you ever thought about creating a timeline of your blogging journey?

We all have our own unique reasons for blogging and our individual approaches. No two blogging journeys are identical, not even our own. We shift focus, experiment with different platforms, and might even change our blog's name.

Few things in life capture the essence of "the journey is the destination" as well as blogging does.

I find it incredibly inspiring to follow others' paths and experiences in the digital world. That's why I created the post "My Blogging Journey" and encouraged others to share their stories.

Following this, Frank Meeuwsen contacted me suggesting the creation of a /timeline page. I replied that it sounded like an excellent idea, but the idea unfortunately faded away...

Until yesterday, when Jedda mentioned on Mastodon that she went looking for her old sites and found one from 2001. She described it as "absolutely PRICELESS and super cringey" and has a blog post coming up, which I'm very much looking forward to reading.

This revived the concept of a /timeline page. While currently not part of the official slash pages directory, I believe it deserves a place there. Regardless, I think it would be both interesting and inspiring if more people created their own.

So, let's explore this digital highway together and document our journeys. Please reach out to me if you do, and I'll include you in the list:
