The beauty of blogging
I've been blogging for about 20 years (except for a couple of years off). I love it! There are several reasons why I like blogging:
Writing
There's something wonderful about seeing sentences grow, letter by letter, on a blank page. It's progress and full awareness in one beautiful combination. It works just as well with paper and pencil, of course.
Technology
I've always been a bit of a technology nerd. Partly when it comes to gadgets and home electronics, but mostly when it comes to software and the web. But, of course, I can just as easily satisfy this desire with a diary app.
Then we have the third reason, the most important one:
Community
There's a wonderful community among bloggers, a sense of togetherness, even if we're geologically worlds apart. Distance doesn't exist in the blogosphere - we're all neighbors. If you need encouragement or inspiration, help is never more than one blogger away. It's a beautiful thing!
Some of my recent posts have been about my blogging doubts when it comes to writing in English. This has led to wonderful, encouraging responses both via email and social media. Even in the form of blog posts by Yordi and Cole.
That, my friends, is the beauty of blogging.
