My brother (yes, I’ve told him to move to Micro.blog) has been using AI to colorize old photos. I think the results are great. He keeps the original black and white as the “real photo” and the AI version as a fun extra. It’s him and me in the shot, somewhere in the 70s.

I’ve done a complete redesign of the Blogging Tips & Tools page. It’s been on my to-do list for a long time, and with Bear’s downtime today, I finally decided to get to work. Hope you like it!

My latest Bear experiment: a custom search feature for my blog page. There’s an official version, but I decided to take it a step further, making descriptions searchable and highlighting the searched term. You can even link directly to a search.

Time for some transcenDental meditation. Getting to the root of things, one tooth at a time. Drilling deep into my thoughts, finding that inner wisdom tooth. Ommm… my gums! 🧘🦷

One last Micro Bear update for today: I added a Videos page and decided to separate movies and shows on the Status page. Also made a few style tweaks for the Extra page.

I’ve updated the Postroll on my Bear blog. It now uses my Micro.blog bookmarks instead of Raindrops, and I’ve also added a search feature.

Latest experiment on my Bear blog: a Status page showing books I’m reading, my latest post and photo, freshly bookmarked pages, and so on. Not the most necessary thing, and I doubt people will visit it, but it’s always fun to tinker. Less fun: cleaning up all the code afterwards 😅
