Stay curious

Is there a cure for aging?

Not really. Some try different ways to look younger, only to end up looking like someone who spent a lot of money to look old in a weird way.

And when it comes to the body as a whole, we might work on staying flexible and strong. That’s great and important, but it won’t stop an aging body from aching here and there — usually when we’re only halfway through its lifespan.

And guess what? That’s fine!

The real measure of age is the state of mind. That’s where “young” versus “old” truly shows.

So, how do we stay young at heart and in our minds?

By staying curious. By not dwelling on the past.

We stay young by…

  • …listening to new music. 🎵
  • …reading a book we normally wouldn’t pick. 📖
  • …showing interest in new trends. 🧐
  • …watching a movie outside our go-to genre. 🍿
  • …starting a blog. 🧑‍💻

There’s no single recipe for this. And there’s no right or wrong way.

No matter what your interests are, no matter what your life situation looks like, it’s possible to stay curious. These days we even have the whole World Wide Web at our fingertips. There’s no excuse not to stay curious.

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but a lack of curiosity will kill the youth in our hearts.
