Passion doesn’t shout

When I inspect houses, I also check the fire safety. Too often, I find missing smoke alarms or fire extinguishers.

If the customer needs something, I have it in the car. I’m not in it for the sales numbers or the commission (there isn’t much). I just like the feeling of leaving a home safer than it was before I came.

It’s the same with my blog. I write because I love to write. If I tried chasing trends or writing for clicks, I’d lose interest fast. So would the readers.

Passion is fragile. Chase the wrong things, and it slips away. Stay true to it, and it stays true to you.
