One or two blogs?
I’ve received quite a few messages from loyal longtime readers saying they miss posts about my doubts around blogging. One reader wrote:
“Isn’t it time for a new post about blog doubt? It’s been almost a month since the last one.”
I’m kidding, of course. Who wants to read that kind of crap? But still… here comes another one.
Yesterday, I subscribed to my own RSS feed—because I just love reading my own writing. Not. I just wanted to see what it looked like—and I wasn’t happy with what I saw.
Between the actual blog post titles, it was cluttered with untitled posts: photos, status updates, book reviews. A total mess, honestly.
If a feed looked like that in my reader, I’d unsubscribe. For real.
Maybe I’m overreacting (wouldn’t be the first time). Some people might actually enjoy a bit of chaos. I don’t know.
Anyway, it got me (over)thinking—maybe it would be a good idea to have a separate blog just for the actual writing. Maybe on Bear, since I still have my lifetime account there. Or maybe upgrading to Micro.blog Premium, so I can run more than one blog and offer email subscriptions too.
I don’t know. I mostly just needed to get these thoughts out.
