Real inspiration
So many of the things we do in life have a predetermined goal. We do them to accomplish something, to get somewhere.
We…
- Eat to still the hunger.
- Sleep to reenergize.
- Study to learn.
- Work to get money.
- Move from here to get to there.
That's basically how the whole world we live in works. If it weren't for the innate urge to learn and grow, we wouldn't be here today.
The downside is that we tend to apply this mindset a little too often. Sometimes it's more rewarding when the here → there strategy is left out and we're as clueless as a newborn.
No plan, no goal…
When this happens, we open the door to true inspiration. We're more in the spirit (in-spiration) than in the mind. It's almost as if the creation happens through us, rather than by us.
We move forward by being still.
