F**k paradise
Watched the movie The Descendents.
The main character lives in Hawaii. He explains that his friends on the mainland think he lives in paradise - like a permanent vacation, immune to life, free from heartache and pain.
His answer to that:
Paradise can go fuck itself.
That's the thing about looking at things from a distance. The grass is always greener on the other side (well, if you compare the mainland to Hawaii, that's actually true).
We all have our issues and problems. Some people are good at hiding them. Others can't stop talking about theirs.
But no one is immune...to life.
Sometimes it's like living in paradise. Other times, life is a living hell.
Life is a roller coaster.
