The lussebulle arrived early this year. A soft saffron bun baked for Lucia Day in December here in Sweden. Sweet, golden, and yuuuuummy 😋

I just noticed that IMDb has random 404 pages with messages inspired by movie quotes. This one’s my favorite so far 😅
Finished watching: Black Rabbit (2025) 📺
Ozark is one of my favorite shows. This felt like the New York edition, with an extra layer of cynical humor — and I loved it!
It’s still all quite new to me having a separate space for longer posts, but I’m really enjoying it. I thought I’d try a little Sunday summary with the posts I’ve written. Maybe I’ll keep it up, maybe not. Here they are:
Latest experiment on my Bear blog: a Status page showing books I’m reading, my latest post and photo, freshly bookmarked pages, and so on. Not the most necessary thing, and I doubt people will visit it, but it’s always fun to tinker. Less fun: cleaning up all the code afterwards 😅

Listening to: Black Cat by Janet Jackson 🎵
My cousin and I used to work as bricklayers for the same company. On our way to work, we’d often blast this cool song in the car.
Listening to: The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy) by Simon & Garfunkel 🎵
What’s a song that instantly makes you smile?
This song always puts a smile on my face, no matter my mood. The joyful vocals just have this way of making you smile. Simply wonderful!
We have AI, self-driving cars, and space tourists. Getting a custom favicon for your blog to show up? That’s where technology draws the line. 😅
Watched: Black Phone 2 (2025) 🍿
It was… okay. If you liked the first one you might enjoy it, but honestly, you can just wait until it hits streaming.

I’ve been tinkering with my Bear blog and added a few new things: a Postroll to share recent posts I’ve enjoyed, a hand-curated Blogroll, and shiny new tag filters for the Notes page. Living up to my Project Over-Engineered theme name 😅
Huddinge, Sweden — boats laid to rest, adding their colors to the autumn canvas, as if painted there by Mother Nature herself.
I added a new photos section on my other blog, showing the photos I post here. To me, Bear and Micro.blog really do feel like a perfect match. ✍️
Ingarö, Sweden — same spot as the video from earlier. Just experimenting a bit with a new photo thingy.
Ingarö, Sweden — the sound of silence. Sometimes, it’s what we don’t have that gives us the most.
Today I did work at Muskö, an island south of Stockholm known for its old naval base hidden inside the rock. You reach it through a 3-kilometer tunnel under the sea, and driving through it feels like entering another world (and kinda like you’re never coming back).
I received my “IndieWeb is Punk” stickers today. Jim Mitchell kindly sent them for free, since I was part of the inspiration behind this cool creation. Want to know the background story? Check out my post Re: IndieWeb is Punk.
Watched: The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025) 🍿
Not great. Greed, a billionaire, a shady doctor, and a journalist playing detective. You know the drill.

Huddinge, Sweden — on my way to the next client, I stopped for a short break to enjoy the beautiful early autumn atmosphere. Moments like these remind me why I never want to go back to an office job again.
Yesterday I wrote about not having decided how, or if, I should connect my two blogs. Now I’ve added a Notes section that shows my latest micro posts. I think it looks quite nice, and doesn’t interfere with the rest of the blog. ✍️
