Ingarö, Sweden — the sound of silence. Sometimes, it’s what we don’t have that gives us the most.

Today I did work at Muskö, an island south of Stockholm known for its old naval base hidden inside the rock. You reach it through a 3-kilometer tunnel under the sea, and driving through it feels like entering another world (and kinda like you’re never coming back).

Huddinge, Sweden — on my way to the next client, I stopped for a short break to enjoy the beautiful early autumn atmosphere. Moments like these remind me why I never want to go back to an office job again.

Yesterday I wrote about not having decided how, or if, I should connect my two blogs. Now I’ve added a Notes section that shows my latest micro posts. I think it looks quite nice, and doesn’t interfere with the rest of the blog. ✍️

The two-blog setup still feels good. This for short posts and robertbirming.com for longer. Not sure how I’ll connect them, but for now here’s a summary of what I’ve posted this week:
