Found another hidden gem here in Chiang Mai today. It really feels like you’re stepping into another world when you go from street chaos to quiet calm. Realted blog post: The idiot behind the wheel

Found this cool little hidden coffee shed today. No electricity, amazing prices, and fantastic coffee.
I’ve been using both ChatGPT and Claude lately for CSS. Running tests side by side on the same things. Here’s my short summary of how they differ:
- ChatGPT: It works, but I would also suggest…
- Claude: Perfect! Let’s move on.
I have now moved most of my long-form content to robertbirming.com. I’ve set up redirects for several posts and pages, but far from all. I still like the idea of keeping birming.com as a Micro.blog-hosted space for shorter posts. Knowing myself, I hardly dare say it, but I really like this setup. 😎
There are so many cool, half-hidden alleys and backyards in Chiang Mai. Around every corner, you find something interesting that makes you stop and take a closer look. It never ends, and I love it. 😎
It was just a year ago since I was last in Chiang Mai, and I’ve already spotted some new cool street art I hadn’t seen before. This one’s from yesterday.
Watched: Jurassic World Rebirth 🍿
One of those time-passing movies that feels like a decent watch on a long flight, when you can’t go anywhere. Which is exactly the case for me right now, on a plane to Thailand.
Finished reading: Eldslandet (Vanessa Frank, #1) by Pascal Engman 📚
This was the first book by Pascal Engman that I’ve read, and I really enjoyed it. It’s gripping from the start, and I loved how two very different worlds are slowly and skillfully woven together as the story unfolds.
Doing some CSS and tested ChatGPT and Claude against each other. I asked the same question to both and got two different suggestions. Then I put them together and asked which one was best. ChatGPT recommended Claude’s solution, and Claude recommended ChatGPT’s 😅 In the end, I went with my own combo.
Watched: Scarface 🍿
Rewatched it… again. Still great. It also has one of my favorite movie quotes. No, it’s not “Say hello to my little friend!”, but this one:
I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.
