You know you’re a design geek when a license plate like this gives you cozy feelings. I spent the rest of the trip trying to figure out the paint hex value. It looked like a solid #232a3c to me.
Watched: The Beast in Me Season 1 📺
It was okay. No more, no less. A bit too predictable, and it often felt like an “ABC miniseries tutorial” playing out exactly as expected. Not bad, just never surprising.
As a little Swedish fika Sunday tinkering, I decided to make a lightweight version of my Bearming theme for Bear blog. The new BearMin theme shares the same philosophy, good readability and modern standards, but in a leaner format. Happy blogging! 🐻

On paper, it sounded like it would be right up my alley. In reality, it just did not quite land for me. Not bad, just not as good as I had imagined I would find it.

I met this lovely bundle of cuteness while doing a house inspection. One of the great benefits of this line of work is that you get to meet a lot of wonderful pets.
I released the Bearming 3.0 theme for Bear blog yesterday and was amazed when someone already shared a beautiful collection of color palettes. It even inspired a new Bearming community page. I’m taking part in Micro.blog’s lovely 12 days of winter wonder photo challenge. Today’s word is frost, and this shot is from the south of Stockholm, back in 2023… since frost is nowhere to be seen in this part of Sweden right now, even though we’re neighbors with Santa.
Spotted this handsome gentleman and asked if I could snap a photo. I’m always a bit hesitant to ask when I’m in Sweden, compared to when I’m traveling. Not so much because Swedes are reserved. I guess it just feels a bit too close to home somehow.

Rewatched it now that it’s on streaming. Still really good, in all its horror and ugliness. What’s most disturbing is how it goes from long, boring waiting to sudden, intense terror. No soundtrack gives it a raw, documentary feel.
