The joy of blogging in English
English is not my native language. Therefore, this text takes longer to write.
I have to stop and think. Search for the right words. Simplify. It takes time…
And that’s where the joy and beauty comes in.
Why rush? It’s not like it’s an exam with a deadline.
I enjoy my routine for writing in English. There’s more space, more contemplation. It feels more relaxed, almost meditative.
Besides, it’s a fun and rewarding challenge to express something simply. Simple is hard. As Blaise Pascal once wrote:
I would have written a shorter letter, but I did not have the time.
